Basic Function: The basic function of the Service Lead Technician is to complete repairs to the specification of manufacturers and customers’ satisfaction. This position will inspect roofs for damage and investigate roof leaks. Service Lead Technicians diagnose the source of the leak and repair the roof in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Duties and Responsibilities Perform repairs and maintenance on all roof systems including BUR, Modified Bitumen, TPO, EPDM, PVC and slope (tile/shingles). Perform repairs in accordance with job specifications and safety guidelines. Ensures all work is completed in a craftsman like manner and to the specification, and satisfaction of the customer and Tecta America. Trains assistant technician on proper repair techniques. Ensures all tools and materials needed for repairs are on truck prior to leaving the Shop. Takes before and after photos of all repairs. Fills out paperwork properly and accurately. Ensures timesheet for themselves and their assistant technicians are filled out accurately and turned in daily. Performs any other duty or task assigned by the Service Superintendent, Service Manager and/or Operating Unit President. Requirements 2+ years Commercial Roofing Experience is Ideal Valid driver's license with good driving record Bilingual a PLUS! Must complete and pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
