North American Roofing is a commercial roofing contractor in the United States. We are searching for a Commercial Roofing Field Manager located in the Orlando Florida. Purpose of the Job: Responsible for the quality, safety and timely installation of roofing projects Job Duties: Review job file and follow details specific to the job. Mobilize crew to job site and arrange lodging using Concur. Direct crew to receive material, inventory and stage per Project Manager’s instructions. Inspect daily work for quality and ensure all night tie ins are watertight. Oversee safety setup and make sure job stays NARS and OSHA compliant at all times. Hold team accountable for NARS safety standards. Update Project Manager of progress of roof installation, delays, issues or concerns that arise Manages the crew and ensures payroll receives all time records for the team by the weekly deadline. Submit documentation for crew incidents/accidents to Project Manager and Safety Department. Work with HR to maintain staffing levels. Interviews and hires crew members. Train and develop skills of crew. Delivers disciplinary actions and performance reviews to the assigned install team. Submit expense reports in a timely manner Skills and Qualifications: 5+ years of commercial roofing experience with 2+ years as a foreman or crew leader A driver’s license or the ability to get a driver’s license is required Working Conditions: Work is performed in outdoor weather conditions. Must be able to work in varied extreme weather conditions (extreme hot and extreme cold). 100% travel locally, within assigned area. Some travel may be assigned outside of assigned area to assist another crew. May be responsible for driving the crew to work site. Repetitive bending, squatting, twisting and stooping with infrequent lifting up to 120 pounds is required. Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds may be required. Operating heavy equipment is required occasionally. Perform work in a fast-paced environment with precise production standards. Repetitive finger/hand/forearm motion necessary for installing a roof. Ability to manipulate keyboards, telephone keypads, and other office equipment. Talking and listening required for answering telephones and conversing personally with customers and staff. Manual dexterity required for accessing filing cabinets.
