Seeking a Roof Inspector to perform roof survey inspections. Nations Roof is a large national commercial roofing contractor, ranked #4 in Roofing Contractors magazine top roofing contractors in the US. Our projects range in scope from large scale new commercial construction industrial hospitality distribution centers retail centers office buildings multifamily and green roofs to renovations of existing buildings exterior. Purpose: Provide project analysis and recommendations to management team. Make site visits to collect information of roof damage and needed repairs Preform take off, if roof is deteriorated Collect measurement of the roof, core samples to determine roof make up Itemize roof equipment; penetrations, curbs, roof drains, etc. Compile conditions and details of roof survey findings in a comprehensive inspection report Any other duties as required by the Manager Requirements: General knowledge and understanding of commercial roof construction, materials, and OSHA safety requirements Prior field experience with leak investigations, roofing diagnosis and repairs highly preferred Proficient in use of smart phones and basic computer skills Able for travel when required, PT on weekends and holidays as needed Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally Ability to lift and climb a ladder Valid drives license and insurable driving record Benefits: Paid Hourly 30 – 60 hours a week (that’s right, available over time) Fully equipped, company provided take home vehicle (company use only) Cell phone and Computer Steady year round work Medical, Vision and Dental Benefits Accident and Disability Insurance Life Insurance 401(K) with employer match Paid professional OSHA training and applicable ProCertifications Nations Roof is an Equal Employment Opportunity and E-Verify compliant Employer, and our company is a Drug Free Workplace.
