Great Lakes Roofing is seeking a Construction Inventory Specialist who will be responsible for the day to day operations and administrative processes supporting our Material & Equipment Division. The successful candidate will be well organized, possess strong task-shifting capabilities, and be able to think decisively on their feet. You will support the division’s daily operations with impeccably maintained records while ensuring and enforcing compliance with department policies and procedures. This role is part of the corporate accounting team in support of the materials division. Typical work week is full-time Monday – Friday, 6:30a – 3p (with room for flexibility). Your office is on-site at our Germantown, WI corporate headquarters. Pay begins at $25/hr, DOE Responsibilities -Auditing & posting weekly payroll on time -Manage inventory, conduct month-end count and resolve discrepancies -Process materials and communicate with customers for job loads/unloads -Oversee credit card usage, approving purchases and submitting receipts -Accurately utilize the purchase order system -Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors, set up new vendors as needed -Fleet management and preventative maintenance -Enforce labor and DOT regulations for vehicles and drivers -Schedule building maintenance as needed Required Skills -Prior construction experience including knowledge of materials processes like logistics of warehousing, shipping, ordering and inventory control. -Possess excellent communication skills to facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and strengthen operational consistency. -Proficiency in Microsoft Suite O365 Our Construction Inventory Specialist is expected to champion their department with a global understanding of the corporation.
